Review Policy

My reviews are an honest reflection of my opinion of the book.  I think is bad form to attack an author personally, even for a book I didn’t enjoy.

It is my goal to write all my reviews in a constructive and honest manner.  My opinions are my own, and honesty to my readers is of the utmost importance. I do not believe in talking-up a book in order to make an author/publisher happy.

Genres I will review:

(in order of likely interest)

  1. Literary Fiction
  2. Fantasy
I have not read much Fantasy and am making an effort to read more of this genre, but my opinions may be skewed because I do not have lots of Fantasy reading experience
  3. Historical Fiction
  4. Dystopia
  5. Post Apocalyptic
  6. Retellings
  7. Mythology
  8. Adventure/Action
  9. Contemporary
  10. Horror / Thriller
  11. Paranormal
  12. Mystery
  13. Science Fiction
