With Christmas 25 sleeps away, I have put together a list of my top 10 books that I am fighting every urge not to purchase!
I need to spend money on other people and not my book cravings. Plus, I risk the chance of buying books that family may have bought as holiday gifts. Here is a list of the top 10 books that I hope to soon have on my Goodreads tbr-owned-shelf going into the new year (by acquiring them as gifts, buying at insanely discounted prices (e.g. Boxing Day), or purchase after the holidays with any gift cards & fun-money gifted).
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling (Illustrated by Jim Kay)
Image above (left to right): The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen, The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman and Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
Uprooted by Naomi Novik and The Diviners by Libba Bray
Sandman by Neil Gaiman
These are just 10 books that I have been gawking over — OK the last Neil Gaiman book is the whole comic series in volumes — but I can’t stop thinking about it! I still have another 100 + shelved on Goodreads that I want to read. So many books, so little time.
